Intake Manifold Tuning (IMT) system — component replacement…
1. To service any components in the IMT, remove the intake manifold.

2. Remove the two IMT actuator mounting screws and remove the actuator.
3. Remove and discard the old 0-ring.
4. Install a new 0-ring.
5. When installing the valve position sensor, make sure that the IMT projection inside the intake manifold is aligned with the groove in the actuator.
6. Installation is otherwise the reverse of removal. Be sure to tighten the IMT actuator mounting screws securely.

7. Remove the IMT actuator.
8. Remove the three bolts attaching the IMT cover to the end of the intake manifold.
9. Remove the cover and slide the valve assembly out of the intake manifold.
10. Remove and discard all old 0-rings and install new 0-rings.
11. Clean the assembly and inside of the intake manifold (as you would a throttle body) if necessary, to remove any build-up.
12. When installing the valve assembly, ensure the assembly is installed in the same orientation as when it was removed.
13. Installation is otherwise the reverse of removal. Be sure to tighten the valve assembly cover mounting bolts securely.
