Stabilizer bar and bushings (rear) — removal, inspection and installation
1. Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts. Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jack stands. Block the front wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling. Remove the rear wheels.
2. If applicable, remove the undercarriage trim panel.
3. Remove the stabilizer bar link nuts and the stabilizer bar bracket bolts and remove the stabilizer bar (see illustration).

4. Pull the brackets off the stabilizer bar and inspect the bushings for cracks, hardness and other signs of deterioration. If the bushings are damaged, replace them.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the fasteners to the torque listed in this Chapter’s Specifications.
