Interior ventilation filter replacement

1. These models are equipped with an air filtering element in the air conditioning system, located in a housing next to the evaporator, under the right side of the instrument panel.

2. Release the glove box stops, then lower the glove box and let it hang (see illustration).

3. Release the tabs and remove the filter door (see illustration).

4. Remove the filter element and install the new one (see illustration). Make sure the arrows on the filter element point in the same direction as the arrows on the housing (down) (see illustration).

5. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
